AVR Group is committed to protecting the environment and to improving the quality of life for present and future generations.

AVR Group, while conducting its activities, will ensure that employees, agents and subcontractors and wherever possible our customers, take action to:

• Minimise pollution to air, land and water (either direct or indirect)
• Reduce waste and recycle materials wherever possible
• Conserve energy
• Use environmentally friendly products wherever possible
• Ensure that the use of chemicals and substances is minimal
• Recognise special areas of conservation and take appropriate action
• Promoting an environmentally responsible approach to all employees, agents and subcontractors and wherever possible our customers
• Identifying opportunities for improving the environment
• Complying with relevant environmental laws and regulations
• Monitoring and reviewing our environmental procedures to make sure they continue to be suitable and sufficient

Employees at all levels have a duty to:

• Halt all operations on discovering the whereabouts of protected species under British Legislation (eg all species of bat, nesting birds, great crested newts, etc) until management has been informed and permission obtained to continue or take alternative action
• Set a personal example by disposing of waste in the appropriate place
• Assist the company to comply with the relevant statutory provisions for a healthier environment

We will continue to strive towards the objectives in ISO14001

The policy is reviewed annually or if circumstances change significantly, will be updated as required.
